I'm Back!!!

Hello everyone!  It seems like that it has been forever since I've been on here.  In January my appendix burst and I was in the hospital for 11 long days because of the severe infection that spread through the whole right side of my torso.  After I got out it took me quite awhile to get back to normal.  But that didn't last long either.  When the surgeon was operating on me he noticed that my gallbladder was inflamed and hardening.  This is how I found out what was causing my extreme back pain and muscle spasms in my ribs.  I had no idea that your gallbladder could cause so much pain.  I mean it was some of the worst pain that I've ever had in my life.  I cannot put into words how horrible the pain was and nothing would help.  Sometimes it would last up to 48 hours!  I couldn't sleep, sit, stand, walk....anything.  To find out it is fat in food that caused the gallbladder to cause these pains.  So, after I got out of the hospital for my appendix I started watching what I ate.  It was pretty much no fat, no caffeine, no chocolate.  It was the most bland diet that I've ever been on.  I lost 19.5 lbs. in 2 months.  I am hypothyroid and for anyone out there that has this issue you know you cannot loose weight no matter what you do.  So, a few weeks ago I had my gallbladder out.  As soon as I got out of the operating room I could tell the difference.  In the recovery room they gave me pudding and shortbread cookies!  They were amazing.  I feel so much better now.  I had no idea that my gallbladder was making me so sick.  It wasn't just the pain, I was so tired and completely exhausted too.  I wasn't able to get anything accomplished and I didn't know why.  Now I feel pretty amazing!  That is until I see the stupid hospital bills.  Those make me quite sad.

I haven't been on here in quite a while.  I've had some horrible muscle spasms/charlie horses in my ribs and back that last for days at a time.  Sitting at my desk crafting seems to bring them on.  Actually doing anything does.  But I didn't get on here today to talk about me.  Please pray for my friend Bernie form Bernie's Craft closet.  She's going through a lot right now and really needs all the prayers that she can get.

A Peanuts Chrismas

I'm finally crafting again.  Woohoo.  I managed to hurt my back and haven't been able to sit at my desk for very long.  The heating pad and a bag of ice have been my friends.  I finally broke down and went to the chiropractor and I actually think that they are helping.  I surely hope that horrific pain doesn't ever come back.
